Warm and waterproof clothing - preferably a floatation suit.

Depending on the type of trip you do we will recommend one or more of the following:
i. Light spinning rod and fixed spool real with 10lb BS nylon. Range of ball weights, swivels and small hooks
ii. Light boat rod 12lb class with small boat multiplier and 20-30lb BS braid. Range of weights 6oz to 1lb, zip booms, wire booms, range of nylon for traces, lures (shads, worms, red gills etc), hooks 1/0 to 6/0 and swivels.
iii. Medium boat rod 30lb class with medium boat multiplier and 40lb BS braid. Range of weights 8oz to 2lb, zip booms, wire booms, range of nylon for traces, lures (pirks etc), hooks 4/0 to 10/0 and swivels.
Bait (call Andy to discuss)
We will try to catch mackerel for bait in summer but recommend each angler to bring:
Frozen mackerel 2lbs.
Frozen Squid 2lbs (5lbs minimum for winter cod).
Rag worms for inshore or banks trips.
Fish carrying bag to take your catch home.
